Homeward Bound

Homeward Bound!

Today is the day we head for home. Up and had breakfast. Then we loaded the truck and trailer.

Lee was not feeling well and Becky had some work to do so we extended the check-out time. Lee rested and Becky worked while Jay, Guy and Vaughn put a new speedometer cable in the truck. (It went out on Saturday.) Once that was finished we pulled out and headed for home, the time was 2:00.

Guy, Lee and Becky were in the car and they arrived in Kamiah, ID at 9:30. Jay and Vaughn pulled in at 11:30 with canoe in tow.

All were glad for the adventure yet we were glad to be home. We have had a very full week and will be glad for the chance to get rested and caught up.

Much was learned from this trip in preparation for next year’s full Missouri Voyage.
