Leaking Underground Storage Tank Removal (LUST). When a LUST is removed contaminated soil must be removed and the remaining soil sampled and tested to insure the remediation is complete. A Geologist should be on hand to insure the soil clean-up is to the specifications of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation guidelines. |
