METROID.EU: Where Metroid is more then "just" a game.

Welcome back to Metroid.eu formerly know as Norfairdepths we have been down for about three months, during that period we received so many reactions from people, it's unbelievable. I couldn't believe it myself but over 5000 reactions we received on the poll, not to mention the hundreds of emails I received. Well I can say the wait is over. Metroid.eu is back again. The only difference is our new domain name which sounds as follows: http://www.metroid-eu.com, but you noticed that already so let's quit the chit chat and enjoy your stay here.
A new year and a new chance, this time we found a decent host providing us with 5GB of web space and 250GB traffic a month, now that should be enough for the time being, if not, we can always get a bigger option. But I don't think that is necessary. ...At least not yet...
What is new? Well new wallpapers, ringtones and midi files are available now, as well as coverage of Metroid prime 2, it's near completion (completion rate 93%) So welcome back and enjoy your stay once more. It's great to be back again ;-)

Yet another Major update has been made, we have added a new section under media, in this section you can find some music videos, well some only one at this time though, but it's pretty cool, the first time I did it, you've seen it before on other games right? Like Final Fantasy, well here on Metroid-eu, and 
probably nowhere else you'll find one for Metroid, exclusive on Metroid-eu (wonders how long it'll take before other sites do this too :P). 
The navigation section on the left has been updated with the newest links all active and waiting.
On top of that, Our forums are restarting again, thou to internal errors, the forums have been down almost 3 months, and we couldn't figure out what was wrong. Now we figured it out. And the forums are back up and running.
All pages Title images have been refreshed and renewed, so have fun:) Then we have some new information on Metroid Prime 3, and a special new treat, a completely new MPH, Characters teaser, fresh from the press, (9-10-2005 straight from the source NoE).
We have provided web space for a new site, actually a sub domain, under Metroid.eu, this sub domain contains a site on World of Warcraft, a guild site of the guild I'm part of. I was asked if I could find time and was interested in making a guild site.
Well hell yeah, another challenge I won't step aside for, it's still under construction, but due to it's small size it'll be up and running next sunday most likely. Feel free to take a look there as well.
And then we have another extra Teaser trailer on Metroid Prime Hunters as well. So have fun. Well I guess I covered it all at this moment, so enjoy your visit, and see you next mission.
Our future major update or at least in the agenda is to finish and upload all the soundtracks on Metroid, so keep an eye open for it.
Remember we are your source for everything Metroid, established in Europe.

The Creature logs of metroid Prime 2 are completed. Take a look and see for yourself, the menu was loads of work, but adding descriptions was even more work. But we have successfully added every creature description from every single creature of metroid Prime 2.

Another major update has been made in the Metroid prime 2 sections, the creature logs have been updated with a description as well, most creatures now have a description, the last remaining few will be updated asap.

A small scripting error has been fixed on the MP2 Map pages. An error kept occurring when loading the map pages, this error has been fixed.

At last I found some time to do a really big Update on the site, at last all the maps from Metroid prime 2 are uploaded and added to the Metroid Prime 2 sections. I hope they'll be helpful to anyone at this time, well I've always been taught; "better late then Never"

It has been a while indeed the points is I'm very busy at the moment with my daily job and some other thingies, so sadly I have far less time to update our site often, nevertheless our site isn't abandoned at all, in fact while I'm away and update rarely I'm tying to solve some issues offline, and make updates
targets are defiantly MP2 section as major project, but also new news and trailers will become available, in fact when you read this we have 3 new movies available on Metroid Prime Hunters. One is a real trailer which looks very nice, the other 2 are mere teasers also on MP:H, showing other playable characters in the battle mode which are some very nice looking FMV quality teasers you can find them in the Metroid Prime Hunters section and available for download.
So enjoy them. And also just recently the second to last step was made for the Domain Name www.metroid.eu, which will become our site or that is how it looks at this moment, it's officially registered now and all we can do now is wait until that domain is given to us by the European commission, so next year wil be a very exiting year for us once again.

E3 Metroid news!
It has been a while since the big updates but within a few weeks the site will be completely finished. For me it has been a very busy 5 months which gave me little to no time at all to make updates,
yet here is a small update on some new Metroid News. The Metroid Prime series life on in the very near future. As well as the good old 2D style. 
According the E3 Metroid Prime Hunters will be released later this year for the NDS.
Also a Metroid Prime Pinball has been announced for the NDS. Sounds like lots of fun to me hopefully you guys agree on that.
Furthermore Metroid Prime 3 has also been announced, whether it will come to the Next Gen console or Cube is so far uncertain. One rumor spreads that Metroid Prime 3 will be released on the GC as the last top notch game before the next gen console war starts next year. 
If this is true it is very likely that we will encounter Dark Samus once again and maybe Metroid Prime 3 will be the "last" Chapter in the "Prime" series, then we might as well expect a new series of Metroid on the Revolution... Metroid Dread Maybe??? read more
If this isn't enough another rumor spreads over a new Metroid game "Metroid Dread" Maybe a start of a new chapter in the Metroid series or just a remake of one of the classics? Nothing is known on that, but it is said that "Metroid Dread" is another 2D Metroid game.
Good old classics style :) Whether it will be created for the NDS, GBA, GC or Revolution is thus far unknown as well "if this game actually is" in progress. Every year again on E3 rumors spread like a small flame in dried grass. As for this part, all we can do is wait and see.
That's it for now. Keep in mind we haven't abandoned the site just a very busy period for me (the owner and main designer of the site), but in my vacation the entire MP2 section will be finished as well as most of the other parts of the entire site. Including the full soundtracks in Zip Format.

2 New wallpapers have been added in the fourth wallpaper page. Two very special Metroid.eu wallpapers designed by someone I know, he made them in Studio Max 3D and in my opinion they look absolutely awesome.

A new Metroid Fusion 1% run has been added in the speedruns page, submitted by the 2D Metroids, my apologies for the low amount of updates at the mo, Rather busy at the moment with my new function at the company, so yeah Updating has been very slow lately, but end of next week a big update shall take place, then all creatures description from Metroid Prime 2 shall be added as well as more things which need to be updated.

# new Speedruns have been submitted and uploaded. My sincerity apologies for updating so little lately. At this moment I'm really busy with issues at work  draining most of the time. If all goes well which it should, some large updates will occur with a week or 2 at the max.
