Ashley Seiler, DMD
Dr. Ashley hasn't lived an ordinary life. Therefore, she is not an ordinary dentist and this is not an ordinary biography. Dr. Ashley grew up in a small town in Upstate New York but after taking a trip to the Mexican border, became desperately curious to see the world and meet its people. She set off on a journey that took her unexpected places and changed her worldview completely. Dr. Ashley lived on every populated continent except South America over a period of several years. She held babies in orphanages in Eastern Europe, built houses in Central America, treated gangrene in places with no medical care, taught English in elementary schools around the world, and met so many beautiful people.
It wasn't always glamorous. She slept in a pile of gravel on a roadside and found it quite comfortable. She slept on the asphalt of a parking lot and found it not comfortable at all. She got parasites and flesh eating bacteria. But she also dined with the Prince of Yemen, accidentally traveled first class more than once and random strangers in airports bought her nice meals. She cooked with people, ate with people, talked with people, lived with people- all of them so different from her. One of her favorite people in the world fell ill and was confined to a wheelchair- trapped in her own body.
Through these experiences Dr. Ashley learned things. She learned that we are all human. She learned that we all struggle. She learned that the things that connect us run so much deeper than the things that divide us. She learned to love people who had different values and opinions than she did. She learned that, at our core, all we really need is someone who cares- a hug, a shoulder, caring words. And she also learned there are so many needs in the world.
She thought for a long time about what she had learned. Eventually, she decided she would try to do something about it. Dr. Ashley decided a career in healthcare, specifically dentistry, would help her meet some of the physical needs of people near and far. She also decided that she would do her best to be the most compassionate, understanding, generous and kind human she could be. She wanted people to feel safe in her presence and to be cared for, on multiple levels. These decisions have led her where she is today- at Goodness Gorgeous we welcome people of all walks to life with open arms. We are here to humbly serve people of all colors, races, languages, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, genders, ages and abilities. We hope you feel at home here.
For those interested in the practical details, Dr. Ashley grew up in a dental family. Her dad is a dentist and her mom ran his office. Dr. Ashley spent every Saturday, school holiday, and summer developing x-rays and processing insurance claims since elementary school. She attended the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia and Arizona State University. She graduated summa cum laude with her degree in Global Health. She then went on to attend Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine, earning her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 2015. Since then, she has worked in both public and private health settings. Dr. Ashley has two little boys who bring her endless joy. In her free time, she loves to travel with her children, bake, read books, and floss her teeth.

She's caring, compassionate, really works to make sure you are comfortable. She's got a light touch and takes her time always checking to make sure you're doing ok. I have been a long time patient at this location and recently have had the pleasure to have Dr. Ashley as my DMD. I cannot say enough positive things about her and her staff! They are always professional, yet personable and really care about my dental health and Dori at the front desk is amazing! I also want to acknowledge their dental hygienists who are gentle and thorough. Today I had a dental procedure from Maria and could not have been more pleased with her service. I live in Phoenix yet still drive 60 miles round trip for my appointments. I HIGHLY recommend this dental office.
