Georgia Deans restaurant & bar

My brother and I were in the area on a hunting trip. We drove by this place and the parking lot was full, so we figured we would give it a try. Apparently they stay so busy, you should have reservations, but the hostes got us a table in about 10 minutes anyway. Our waitress was great, and her recommendations were spot on. She knew both the previous owner's and the building's history which was impressive. Dress from the clientele was from overalls to Sunday's best. The restaurant had a 99% rating. We ordered calamari as an appetizer, salmon and bone in porkchop as the main courses, with sweet potato fries as the sides. Everything was fantastic, and I will definitely eat there again, when in the area.

I can see this place becoming a true staple in Martin county. Great service an food. Worth the experience. You want regret stopping in......

I was visiting relatives intern this past week and I ate here a few days ago with my sister. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I had the seared ahi tuna salad and it was everything I hoped for! The sear was just right with a nice blend of different veggies for a very filling and tasty salad. We also had the crab dip (recommended by our server) and it did not disappoint. Chocolate mousse for desert was good also. Service was excellent, our server checked on us frequently to make sure we were OK and asked us if everything was to our liking. Next time I am in Williamston, I will definitely go back to Georgia Deans
