WE DO TERMITE INSPECTIONS:
$95.00 PAID AT TIME OF INSPECTION OR $120 BILL TO ESCROW,
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE.
If you are selling your house and need a report, then call us for an inspection. If you think you are getting gouged by a different company for repairs or chemical treatment, we will do a competitive bid. If we cannot save you money, we will walk away at no charge to you. Our reports are divided into Section I items and Section II items. Section I items must be completed prior to a certification. Section II items are mostly maintenance items and must be done primarily for VA and FHA loans. Our inspections will contain an itemized bid for repairs, as required by the Board.
WE DO GENERAL PEST SERVICES.
Ants, spiders, all kinds of creepy crawling things.
Go to http://www.buginfo.com/nofinder/ to find out more than you ever wanted to know about bugs.
WE DO CHEMICAL TREATMENTS:
If you think you have termites, call us. We will look at the problem free of charge. If you have subterranean termites, we will issue you a limited report with a contract for chemical treatment. We are both Premise and Termidor certified. You must have an inspection report and a contract before any treatment can be performed.
WE DO BIDS FOR FUMIGATIONS:
Certain types of termites colonize in the wall (drywood termites) and require fumigation. Beetle infestations also require fumigations. Call us for a competitive bid. An inspection report must be performed before you can fumigate your house.
TO BAIT, OR NOT TO BAIT: DO I NEED A BAIT STATION?
At the last continuing education seminar I attended, a biologist stated that bait stations were field tested to be 10% effective. Baits stations are a high profit item for termite companies, a bad investment for the homeowner, in my opinion. Instead of a bait station system for $1,500, for the same price a homeowner can get an inspection every year for 15 yrs. We will do preventative treatments. If you are worried about possible termite intrusion into inaccessible areas, we will give you a bid to treat around your house with Termidor. There is no preventative treatment for drywood termites, which colonize inside the walls. Preventative treatments are for subterranean termites only, which colonize in the soil.
