Pete Redford and his team manage the Marion Baker Hatchery...from capturing the brood stock to releasing the new stock into French Creek. Thanks to this work, 30,000 Coho salmon fry and 100,000 Chum salmon fry are released into the creek each year! more »

Over 100 years old, The Old School House (TOSH) in Qualicum Beach, British Columbia has become an arts icon in the community. Entirely run by volunteers, it brings art and culture to the community in a variety of ways.
Sailing aboard the “Indiana”, friends Thorsten Böhnke & Jan Wolf follow the ocean routes of the old tall ships. See the world through their eyes as they visit nature reserves, conservation projects & people dedicated to protecting endangered species.
Can the farmers of Vancouver Island rebuild food production to the level it was decades ago? Sure! Plant it and we will support the effort, buy the bounty and eat the harvest! We're in this together.
