Levi was fantastic at ensuring the game was a partnership between game master and player. If something needed to change he would do that.

As you may know about D and D, it is best done without the players feeling like they are on a railroad track. For the DM this means they need to be excellent at offering narrative and if that doesnt grab offer options ofcourse if those don't grab, the DM needs to ad lib. This process is where Levi excels, his games have excellent engaging stories without feeling on a railroad. I often find myself asking, "were we supposed to go down there?" Because the entire adventure all flows perfectly together.
